Activity Points - Other Sports
How are points calculated for unclassified sports?
Some sports activities do not fall into the main categories such as dance, martial arts, racket sports or climbing. In such cases, Move Republic uses a universal fallback model that awards Activity Points (AP) based on the duration of the workout and the average number of calories burned per minute.Points are awarded as a bonus on top of step points.
Points are awarded as a bonus on top of step points.
Important rules
-
The activity must be recorded in real time with a sports watch or compatible fitness device.
-
Activities added manually after the workout are not rewarded.
-
Calorie data must be synced from the device.
-
Points for this category are additional points on top of step points.
If a workout is started on the watch during check-in at a sports facility, the workout replaces the check-in. The user receives activity points either for the check-in time or for the recorded workout.
