How are Activity Points for cardio training calculated?

Bonus points for cardio workouts synced from sports watches.

Cardio training is classified as stationary fitness training and can be synced directly from sports watches or training apps with the Move Republic app. Activity Points (AP) are calculated based on the training data recorded by your device.

The system takes into account:

  • The duration of the training,

  • Average calories burned per minute,

  • The progressive-regressive scoring system.

The number of points therefore depends on both the duration and the intensity of the workout.

Important Rules

  • Points are only awarded for activities recorded in real-time.

  • Manually added activities after the fact are not considered.

  • Calorie data must be synced from the device.

  • If no calorie data is available, no AP will be credited.

  • The minimum duration for a workout is 15 minutes.

  • If you simultaneously check in at a sports facility via the Move Republic app, this may overwrite the data from your sports watch. Activity Points can only be earned for one type of training at a time.

Bonus Points and Steps

For these workouts:

  • Activity Points are additional points,

  • Steps generated during the training continue to be counted separately.

This means that users can simultaneously receive Activity Points for the duration of the workout and points for steps recorded during the training.
