      🔔 Notifications in the Move Republic app

      How they work, how to set them up, and what you should know

      🧭 Introduction
      In the Move Republic app, you have access to two types of notifications:

      ➡️ General notifications from Move Republic
      ➡️ Community notifications (from chats in Communities)

      Below we explain how to manage them step by step.


      📢 General notifications from Move Republic

      These are messages from our team – about updates, new features, important events, or key changes.

      📲 How to manage general notifications:

      You cannot disable notifications from Move Republic directly in our app.
      You can mute them in your phone’s settings, under notification settings for the Move Republic app.

      🔧 Step-by-step guide:

      ➡️ Android:

      1. Open your phone’s Settings

      2. Go to Apps or App Management

      3. Find the Move Republic app

      4. Tap Notifications

      5. Turn off notifications or adjust their type (e.g., mute)

      ➡️ iOS (iPhone):

      1. Open your phone’s Settings

      2. Go to Notifications

      3. Find the Move Republic app on the list

      4. Turn off notifications or adjust alert settings

      ⚠️ Recommendation
      ➡️ We do not recommend turning off Move Republic notifications.
      This is how we share important information about your challenges, rewards, and app updates. Disabling them may cause you to miss something really important!


      💬 Community notifications

      Each Community you join has its own chat.
      All new chat messages are treated as separate notifications.

      📲 How to manage Community notifications:

      1. Open the selected Community

      2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner

      3. Go to Privacy Settings

      4. Open the Notifications section

      🎛️ You have three options:

      1️⃣ Mute all Community notifications
      ➡️ Blocks all notifications from this Community (chats, events, mentions).

      2️⃣ Chat notifications

      • All – you receive all chat notifications.

      • Mentions only – you receive notifications only when someone mentions you.

      • None – completely mute chat messages.

      3️⃣ Events

      • All – notifications about all events in the Community.

      • None – no notifications about events.


      🧩 Frequently Asked Questions

      ❓ Not receiving notifications from an important Community?
      → Check if you’ve muted notifications or chat in that Community.

      ❓ Getting too many chat notifications?
      → Use the Mentions only option to receive only the most important messages.

      ❓ Not getting general Move Republic notifications?
      → Check your phone’s notification settings for the Move Republic app.
