Your SUUNTO watch can be easily connected to Move Republic.
Introduction & Recommendation (Android)
Suunto watches are known for their accurate sports data tracking, but their integration with third-party apps - such as Move Republic - is limited.
On Android, there is no official or indirect way to sync Suunto with Move Republic.
Why?
-
The Suunto app does not support Health Connect - so we cannot use the usual "data bridge".
-
There is no official and stable integration with Google Fit - the only exception is the Suunto 7, which is based on Wear OS and can be connected to Google Fit.
All other Suunto models (e.g. Suunto 5, 9, Spartan, etc.) cannot transfer data to Move Republic on Android.
Our recommendation for Android
If you use Android and have a Suunto watch:
We recommend that you record activities with the Move Republic pedometer on your smartphone and track bike rides via Strava.
Why is that?
✅ Free of charge
✅ No additional tools or apps required
✅ Stable to use
